First Computing Lesson, 19/4/17

A few weeks ago, we were being asked to select our own module for CID 4+. Without a doubt, I put down computing as my first choice as I have always been fascinated by programmers and hackers, the fact that how they are able to accomplish different tasks just by typing codes on the computers. Hence, today when I received the allocation, I was pretty excited in attending the lessons itself. We gathered at the band room before we are brought to the iCode lab by our teacher mentors, Mr Chan and Mr Zhou. In the iCode lab, Mr Chan then carried on to give us a basic introduction on the computing module itself and what we are going to achieve by the end of the module itself. When I hear that our end product is a web application, to be honest, I thought that it was very easy and could be easily achieved in one week. Nevertheless, I was still very excited to go into lesson proper next week as lessons cannot be conducted this week because a lot of us never bring our laptops. To conclude the day, I went back home with a heavy heart hoping the next computing lesson could arrive faster!
